The Pavilion, Englefield Road

· The parish council office
· Hiring of the Peter Gooch room – suitable for meetings and community classes
· Hiring of the changing room facilities

Theale Recreation Ground (leased from Englefield Estate)

· Public Open Space
· Children’s play area
· Skate park
· Youth Shelter
· Floodlit football training pitch
· Football pitch
· Cricket pitch
· Litter and Dog Bins
· Benches

North Street Playing Fields (leased from Englefield Estate)

· Public Open Space
· Football pitches
· Litter and Dog Bins

John Cumber Hall, High Street

· Small community hall suitable for children’s parties, exercise classes and community groups
· Owned by the Cumber family but managed by the parish council

War Memorial

The parish council is also responsible for seven street lights and four benches in the village.

Christmas Lights

Christmas Lights Switch-on Event
· Annual event held first Saturday in December.

Other occasional community events

Grants

The parish council has a small annual grant budget. Local charities or community organisations are eligible to apply for grants. Please contact the Clerk for details.

Other services, including highways, pavements, street lighting, bin collections, car parks, are the responsibility of West Berkshire Council. Residents can contact WBC directly with any concerns.
