🌸 Theale in Bloom 2026 – Congratulations! 🌸
A huge thank you to everyone who entered this year's Theale in Bloom.
It has been a challenging year for gardeners, with late frosts, dramatic overnight temperature changes, relentless sunshine, scorching heat and very little rain making life in the garden incredibly tough.
So, hats off to everyone who has kept their gardens thriving and took the time to enter this year's competition. In fact... keep your hats on – the sun is still fierce! ☀️

Congratulations to Tom, Catherine and the team for their beautiful front display. One judge commented that it "really makes the village look lovely when driving in from the west" – and we couldn't agree more. It always looks fantastic and provides such a warm welcome to Theale.

A garden with a little bit of everything – possibly even the kitchen sink! With ponds, a wheelbarrow full of tomatoes, hedgehog houses, bug hotels and, of course, an abundance of beautiful flowers and plants, it's a wonderful example of a front garden that not only looks stunning but also provides an important haven for local wildlife.

This garden is always a joy to visit. Bursting with colour, variety and creativity, it shows just how much can be achieved in a smaller space.
